Selecting Indicators Using a Prioritization MatrixNext, the team needed to select the indicators that would best alert the team to the existence of a problem.The team used a prioritization matrix to decide which indicators to use. The criteria they based their decision on included:
Next, a team member set up a prioritization matrix and asked the other team members to vote three times for each of the criteria. Each participant votes on the three problems he or she considers the most valid, voting 3 for the most valid indicator, then 2, and then 1. Then each participant votes three times on the most technically feasible indicator (3, 2, 1), and finally on the three lowest cost indicators (3, 2, 1). Prioritization Matrix to Select Indicators
Mrs. Alvarez and the team selected the indicators that received the most votes from the prioritization matrix process and decided to focus on the top four indicators for monitoring and evaluation of the solutions. |
