| |  | | Practically all efforts to develop national health systems and improve service performance include some aspect of health data and information generation and use. This attests to the importance of sound data for effective delivery and management of clinical and public health services. MSH continues to support health information system development and the enhancement of data use, and wishes to use this site to broadly share some principles, practices, tools and results, not only from our efforts but also from those of other organizations and individuals who have positive experiences in HIS development.
| Content Managing Information is divided into two topic areas: use of data, and monitoring and evaluation. The materials accessible from this site are of several types. We include The MSH Approach statement which is a short description of MSH principles and approaches for HIS development.
