- Conduct a training needs assessment.
- Prepare a training program:
- Set course objectives.
- Develop the training curriculum.
- Determine the methodology and techniques for training.
- Develop training session plans.
- Determine the resource requirements.
- Develop the budget for training.
- Write a proposal for funding the training program.
- Plan the logistics for training: When training will occur, who will do it, and where it will be conducted.
- Prepare evaluation forms prior ro training (evaluation of trainees, trainer(s), and course content).
- Follow up after training to assess any changes in employee effectiveness on the job.
